TINY FLIES, how to get rid?

I was just writing a note sat at the table and one of those tiny black flies landed on my finger. This is happening in the bedroom at night too and I am developing a bit of a phobia about them. I do have a few plants in the house and always have had. Last week I sprayed around the base of a couple of plants with ordinary fly sprayer. Has anyone ot any ideas how to get rid completely. The few plants in the house are all very dry so I don't know what these little things are living on.

If you can still get hold of them, Phostrogen slow release systemic insecticide pins work very well.

They are literally just impregnated cardboard pins that you push into the soil of house plants to kill off thrips and similar bugs.

I am so embarrassed. That message was meant to be on the Green Fingers forum. The one on here should have been about why I could not put anything in the title column on MSE via Firefox

Will now go to the Gardening forum and the post for here will probably be on there.

    :o:o:o
