Yeooww catnip

Hi all
I have just purchased a Yeooww catnip banana from purrsinourhearts for our boy Charlie.
Just wondered if anyone has purchased this before (or other products with Yeooww catnip in) and whether their cats liked it? I've bought a few catnip products for our cat and he doesn't show much interest but I read that this is strong stuff so I'm hoping he takes to it!
He's got something else to open tomorrow morning so maybe this will make a nice new year's present

If Charlie doesn't go mad for Yeowww catnip toys then he's not a proper cat

My cats have had the cigar and the stinkie sardine yeowww toys and gone mental for them both, much stronger than regular catnip and they seem to last ages aswell.0 -
Excellent - sounds promising! I bought him a little catnip toy yesterday and no response but it could have been hanging in the shop for ages and the scent worn off

Can't wait to get it now and see what happens! :rotfl:0 -
The Yeow catnip is supposed to be the most potent, some of the cheaper toys are just sprayed with catnip instead of filled. Yeow is so good that Purrs have temporarily sold out! Not all cats are genetically susceptbible to catnip tho - if not you might try the KwayzeKatz valerian toys which are equally good quality. Apparently if you dampen the toy the potency returns.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

Yeah they are getting more of the bananas in on 30th December so will have to wait til the new year to see if it works!
We bought some catnip from Pets At Home when we first got Charlie and put it in an old sock, the other day (and this was the first time I witnessed this) Charlie laid down with it and started licking it, had a little roll around with it but soon got bored, so I suspect he "has a nose" for it but maybe needs something stronger like Yeoww!0 -

I find that squeezing 'old' catnip toys seems to reignite the catnip and my cats go back to bunny kicking the toy to death again!0 -
Yeoww gets the thumbs up from all of my gang, they have an extensive collection of well chewed and licked bananas, rainbows and cigars which I stack away in a toy corner....these relics get pulled out and played with on a regular basis. It is a shame they don't do different designs though...the cigar looks uncannily like an old poop lying on the floor and has shocked many a visitor!
I will admit to being sad enough to buying cheap soft mice from Ikea then stuffing them with the filling from the Yeow toys....very amusing response!0 -

You can buy the Yeowww catnip on it's own from the Purrsinourhearts shop - very reasonable at £1.75 plus p&p at cost (76p). It does say on the site that they're still taking orders but they won't be dispatched until the New Year now - it would save you picking out the stuffing from your old toys!

Thanks, I have ordered that in the past....but somehow it did not seem to entice them quite a much as the filling from the toys! Anyway...it was a spur of the moment thing when I saw the mice...and a giant rat....at Ikea. I had some spare yeow toys at home intended for cat pressies, so got busy with the scissors and sewing thread....0 -
Ooooooh I saw the giant rats in IKEA and almost bought one for Noah!Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0
