I dont have a gas boiler only an electric emersion heater. I would like to get cover for it. It cost me £150 to have the thermostat replaced thsi year and a new one will be £600.
Do you know of any cover? Most only cover gas boilers
Thanks

Assuming you mean a normal domestic hot water tank with an Immersion heater, the cost is no where near what you quote.
Replacement heater elements cost around £25, and thermostats are no more than say £5.
As an example see below.

I would not have thought you would have to pay a plumber more than say £50 to fit one. That gum you like is coming back in style.0
