Ive had a hectic year ive tried to sell my house privately, rent it privately, bought a house, had 2 mortgages, moved house, rented a house out and now im just begining to chill even though the house we have moved to needs a bit of work on it.
Anyway i dont want any sarcy comments about the renting, i didnt want to become a btl landlord, but i have done it proper, with gas certificates, landlords insurance, references, tenants checks. informing tax office and mortgage company, deposit scheme and having a proper tenancy agreement.
Anyway whats everyone else done this year has anyone been has hectic has me??

Possibly...my wife and I had our second baby (girl - 6 months old now), I bought an investment property and rented it out privately, I am negotiating to purchase the freehold for the two leasehold properties I rent out, I had builders in finishing my house for three months at the beginning of the year, avoided redundancy (that was stressful!) and recently started the wheels in motion to sell our house and move on in the New Year!0

I've also been busy letting properly and working at my job. Its going to be a hectic 2010!0
