Hope you guys -who unlike me knows about techie stuff- can help. I would like to buy a digital camcorder as i think it will be nice to capture those funny moments my 2yr old comes up with.. soon it will be too late!! But could you please tell me what i should look at.. ie specs, megs, dvd etc .(all this is so complicated!). another thing, i can't really spend too much on it.. under 100gbp... i saw some on ebayer but are they any good? or anywhere else i could look at.
thanks a lot in advance...

i have one of ebay which me and my mates use to film our stupid little stunts, and these are being filmed from a distance and are fine. My camcorder was 85 quid from ebay. If all your doing is recording your kid, you'll be fine with almost any low grade camcorder.0

Have a look at the "Canon Outlet" on E-Bay. You may have to search a bit, but it's there. You can by a refurbished camcorder at a very good price with full back-up and guarantee, which would not necessarily be the case with everyone on E-Bay! The actual number of camcorders for sale tends to vary, but patience will be rewarded. Canon are not bad at all, quite a good reputation, and this is an official site, as far as I know.0

What about the movie option on a digital camera? With a reasonable sized memory you can record quite a long video.0
