I have seen

Pleease can someone help because I need to call France mobile and Cuba - have you seen how expensive Cuba is?

Calls to a French mobile will cost you 7p or 8p per minute depending on which of the dial-through providers (Martin calls them Simply Dial Providers) you choose.

Unfortunately, Cuba is a very poor country and, as you've obviously already discovered, the regime there appears to have chosen to attempt to earn foreign income by charging high prices to connect incoming calls. 40p per minute looks like the cheapest you're going to get.
