Any particular reason you are installing this on a new laptop?

It just helps to see whats running and what is really needed, I have it on other pcs. I know it doesnt cover everything but it helps the not so techy like myself. I managed to download it by left clicking and running as administrator and found quite a few programs running at start up that are not really needed
    Thanx

And what are the shortfalls of glary/quick start up please?
    Thanx
