hi
is there anyone on here who can help?
I had an accident which was quite bad, leaving permanent disfigurement due to the neglect of someone who owned a building, where something fell on me whilst walking on the street.
I went through a claim company to try get some compensation from the owner of that building.
after a long wait, I was told that the building owner admitted liability and therefore I would get compensation.
I was told how much I would get via email from the claim company, but I asked for proof of the amount offered from the other side in writing from the other side, and they would not provide it.
Do I have legal right to ask for the proof of the amount I am being offered from the other side if they have admitted liability?
I shouldn't think its a big issue, yet the claims company doesn't seem to want to give me in writing from the other side, the amount they are offering to me.
Im suspicious they are taking a massive chunk of the compensation I have been awarded and are hiding the true amount.
What should I do in this case? is there anyone I can speak to or anybody who knows what to do in this case.
thanks

Put this in on the employment board you will get a better response due to people who have had legal claims.I'm not cynical I'm realistic
