Hey,
I've just bought a Sony Ericsson C510 today. I'm not particularly bothered about using the internet on my phone but am curious - in the description it says it has internet but not wi-fi.
I'm sure this is a really stupid question...but how can you connect to the internet on a phone without wi-fi?
I'm not good with technology, so thanks for bearing with me. any help would be great.

wap/GRPS/3G etc
and it probably won't use your home wifi network. it will more than likely use the GPRS/3g connection provided by the mobile phone network.0 -
Your network provider should provide you an option to subscribe to the internet through packages or bundles, as far as I know. This would be the same as if it was through wi-fi.
Hope this helps.0 -
Just watch, if it is a contract you can run up huge bills with out an internet bundle/package. PAYG it will just run away ith your credit. Phone calls are just digital exchages of voice signals, the internet just uses the digital signal for different information but across the same network as the calls.New PV club member. 3.99kW system.
