Options
Hello,

we have just been bought one of thesse washing machines, im trying to fathom out in installation instructions, and it has started by saying remove the 3 protective screws and the rubber bush with the respective spacer.

i wasnt here when they delivered it, and my mum says they did nothing, but on 2 of the screws it looks like they have remvoed stuff, but on the top one, when i take the bolt out, nothing moves, ie the way they describe it the bung should fall down..... it doesnt!!

can anyone advise??? pretty please... i dont wanna be washing all christmas day!
Please be nice to all moneysavers!

the spacers dont always fall down cleanly. sometimes they can get stuck in the machine gubbins somewhere.
i shouldnt worry too much. taking the transit bolts out is then main issue.
    Get some gorm.

  • The bolts/spacers etc are there to protect the drum moving about and being damaged in transit - once you open the door give the drum a shake and if it moves freely then your brackets have been removed
