Ive been reciving annoying calls from call centres , etc trying to sell stuff so i phoned BT who gave me info and told me to phone pps and get my Number removed of the list. Well some how my number is in INDIA and UK mobile phone based company (they say it is) any way they keep phoning, im asian and they think if they start talking inthe mother tounge they will get somewhere. I get well annoyed and sometimes there even rude. BT go they cant do anything, so i cant do nothing.
after I rejected them they sart sending annoying calls, and arent willing to clearly give the companies whole name. one min its tulip UK, next something else. >:(

I sympathise.
The Data Protection Commissioner/Registrar or whatever she is called thesedays should have resigned long ago over this matter.
How on earth can it be considered safe to give UK personal data to a Third World country? It never has been and it never will be. The wrongdoers are far outside the reach of UK law and the corporates who use these services are doing none other than siphoning off cost savings by stealing security and time from thousands of affected customers.
I do not expect the smart Alec managers who dream up these schemes ever to be ashamed of themselves - in my experience they are of the type who never gained a set of morals that would cause them to be ashamed over any matter whatsoever.0 -
