Tesco home cavity wall installation - any experiences?

Hi folks,

Just signed up for Tesco Cavity Wall Installation and received a letter today in the post about it. Due for an assessment in the new year. Anyone had it installed yet and any experiences? I know they contract it out but how did it go for people?

    How old is your house?

    I went through Tesco to have my Mum's loft insulated and once the paperwork went away I just dealt with the company doing the work. It was painless and no charge as my Mum is a pensioner.

    Some friends of ours have just had theirs done via Tesco. No problems at all, except that they turned up early before the roof was fully cleared. So they just got on with the cavity insulation while my friend finished clearing out the roof.
    I can afford anything that I want.
    Just so long as I don't want much.
