Argos - Exchange / Refund Policy

Purchased a pair of hairstaigtners from argos about 2 months ago, Stopped working last week, took them back down today and when they were exchanging noticed they had went down in price by over £50

Asked them if I could get the difference was told no asked if I could get a refund on them since there faulty rather than a replacement was told no again.

Should I be able to get them refunded since there faulty ? anybody have any idea's what I could do to get the price difference ?

Argos have fulfilled all that you can reasonably expect from them by giving you a replacement

If they had gone up in price I assume you would have offered to pay the difference

Yes Optimist is right, your contract was to pay for goods at a certain price, when you paid, you kept your half, when they supplied, they kept their half.
Not many stores will even swop a faulty product straight away, Argos do. Don't knock it. Peter.

Yeah sure I'd of offered to pay them more

Lets say the replacement pair do the same thing, would they just replace again or could you ask for a refund

    Replace again.

If you wanted a full refund you should have asked for it the first time they went wrong.

If you are lucky they will give you a partial refund but as it's Argos you won't be.

You're not entitled to a refund.
