Full refund £11.19 no problems - she even said "you'll enjoy that even more now it's free"

thanks for this, got my first R and R.... product said £8.97 item went through at £19.99.... skipped a heart beat when the guy was looking at the front of the case while taking the security box off it....

i got this from coventry walsgrave tesco extra by showcase cinemas.... they had another 2 on the shelf so quickly go and grab it.....

i also noticed they had LA Rush for the same price but could not scan it through the security box at the self scanner so left it......

I can understand people not noticing being overcharged on their weekly shop but today i saw a man buying kenco cappio (the cans) which are on special offer at 75p each i think and he bought four. i'm sure he didn't buy anything else and was charged £5.32. and he just paid! couldn't believe it, are people really that bad at maths that they cant work out that four things at under a pound can't possibly come to £5 something? And i know he wasn't straight off to CS for r+r cos it was only a tiny tesco and no CS desk.

dunno if this is a general r+r or whether i made a mistake in my being nosey!!

thats the one, i am from Southampton but work near the BP garage in Bournemouth so only literally know how to drive to the tesco and back

animaniacs for nintendo ds stickered £14.97 charged £29.99,i went through the self service till then got customer services to take security box off, then said oh look you have over charged me,she tried telling me someone must have stuck the sticker on it for £14.97 till i reminded her she had just removed the security box........r&r no problem after that.

Got R&R on Nescafe today £5.19 :j ( thanks to all who posted this) had to specify that the price was displayed on a board comparing Tesco to Asda etc - sa did remove that sign. Btw....although it says Asda price is £4.34, when I looked in Asda this week their price is actually £4.00 - presumably one of their special promos...so are Tesco breaking any laws by comparing their prices to an incorrect price of a rival ?
Also the bacon in my Tesco is correctly labelled at 94p, so no free joy there today:cool:
