Dual Addresses - Does it affect credit history?

Hi
Anyone got experience of applying for credit where their credit history is split across addresses?
Basically I've still got most ID, bank stuff etc registered at my parents address but have lived in rented accomodation for the past 6 years since going to uni.
I've checked my credit history and have various searches and a mobile contract showing at my parents address (over the last couple of years). I am on the electoral roll at my current flat and have a couple of searches on the report. I have a mobile contract showing at my previous flat. That's all that's on my report. So there is nothing more than two years old.
Is it possible to get lenders to consider more than one address for a given period?
Any advice appreciated

Yes. Lenders always let you give your previous address if you have not lived there for long. You should see both addresses on your credit history and as long as you quote both on your application it should not cause a problem.0

I've seen that more than one address can be put on the forms but I thought they would have to be consecutive dates. What I would need to do to show my full credit history would be:
1998 - now Address A
1998 - 2001 Address B
2001 - 2003 Address C
2003 - now Address D
Would that be allowed on application forms?Nice to save.0 -
Just put down as many as they have room for starting with the most recent. They probably know about them already from the CRA anyway, it's just to make sure.
EDIT: Ah I see what you mean now. I have a similar problem in that I rented my house out while I went backpacking for a year. I redirected my credit cards to my parents address.
I say I have lived in my house for 5 years and it disagrees with what the CRAs have so I often get asked to provide utility bills etc I assume to prove I live here. I think I may switch to saying what the CRAs have in the future to see if that helps.
It doesn't matter much though, they still lend to me in the end.0 -
My theory is that if you can only give one address for any one time, it's better to give an address where you would have been on the electoral register.
