Sheffield is apparently opening at 9am on Boxing day. I have been first in the queue for the past two years, and last year managed to get a hatbox. It was all very civilised, with none of the pushing and shoving that I've heard about elsewhere. Unfortunately I won't be there first thing this year as family has to come first, but I hope to make it into town later on to see what's left!
I wouldn't take too much notice of what you read on the Lush forum, as a few people on there really don't like us MSE-ers - I'm not sure why, but there have been comments about people here being money-grabbing and only interested in Lush when the sale's on. I know that you will always get a few people who push and shove and who get stuff to put on Ebay, but I think most people here are like me and love Lush stuff and see this as a great opportunity to stock up for the year ahead and get some free stuff - and just don't have time to work towards becoming a member of the Lush forum clique. I hate to say it but I wouldn't put it past one or two over at the Lush forum to post misleading information! So best to phone your local store tomorrow to find out what they're doing and when they're open - and then post it here so the shops don't get too many MSE phone calls!0 -
Hi Guys, anyone know about Manchester opening time ?I appreciate Each and Every win. I thank every comp poster from the bottom of my heart :A0

I soooooo want Lush to do this offer.
I love snow fairy shower gel- which is only available over xmas, and wait each year until the sale to stock up and get some lovely bath bombs in the process too. I've never managed to get a hatbox, but I've been thinking about it for the last month or so, I would love one this year.
Anyway, like I said, I hope they do this, and that everyone here manages to get what they want.
Merry Christmas MSE'ers. xxx0 -

I don't know mmmkbb, the only event that i went to was for the grabbit bags, I didnt know that they did this on boxing day.
Believe it or not I used to run past the shop cause the smell was overpowering but now I love it, MIL bought me a gift set the other year and i've been a fan ever since.
Perhaps someone will be along to fill us both in on what to expect. HTH:j It doesn't get any better than this :j0 -

I sent you a PM- I think the choice of shop might depend on the weather!! But I've never 'done' Meadowhall so can only report on the Fargate experience.
As for what to buy - I find many Lush products tend to polarise people as like Marmite, they either love 'em or hate 'em. So there's no substitute for going in and having a good sniff!0
