Bank of Scotland Credit Card - hard sell

I am a credit card tart and recently switched to the bank of scotland NSPCC card as recommended on this site. When I called to activate the card I was given the worse hard sell for card and payments protection I have ever experienced. The advisor was aggressive and confrontational. Had I been a vulnerable or old person I would have felt bullied into taking the protection. I have written a strong letter of complaint. Forewarned is forearmed so if you take this card out be prepared before you phone to activate it!

The halifax give out the same treatment. I had to repeat the words 'no thanks' have a dozen times. when the 6 months 0% is up, i'm off.
I wonder why it is, that young men are always cautioned against bad girls. Anyone can handle a bad girl. It's the good girls men should be warned against.-David Niven

If it is the NSPCC Card then that will be Bank Of Scotland, not Royal Bank Of Scotland. They are 2 different organisations. Bank Of Scotland is part of the HBOS group and Royal Bank Of Scotland are the owners of Natwest.
