Virgin Media Billing

I have been trying to get an accurate bill from Virgin media and to be honest am getting sick to the back teeth of them!!
I really have to watch the pennies now so am trying to cut down my phone bill on average my actual calls are about £40 per month my broadband is part of the package and costs long with my telephone line rental £23 per month. But my bill by the time they have finished each month is costing over £200 and I have no idea where the money is going
I'm visually impaired so need a large print bill which adds time to the date I receive my bill.
Last month I was advised to take out a talk plan (the second I might add as the first was of no value to me whatsoever) and once again I have the same call charge amount so I wanted to know which calls had been allocated to the talk plan as they are not showing on my bill. The reply I got was:
'For legal reasons we cannot print on your bill telephphone calls that have been allocated to a free number to see these allocated calls you will need to have a letter raised from a solicitor and sent to our headoffice to make a request to see them. Talk plan calls are allocated as freephone numbers because they are not charged for on our system so we do not show any record of them on your bill'
OK I fully understand that if a special freephone number like a rape crisis number or childline for an example should be a free call and not shown on my monthly bill BUT a normal telephone number that would otherwise be allocated to my bill should be shown as a call made within the remit of the talk plan and allocated on my bill as such without the need for me to go to a solicitor to raise a letter to see my own billing!!
I want to know that the talkplan is actually working and is appropriate for me but I cannot do this without seeing the calls. Surely this cannot be right??????
Can anyone help I just want to see an accurate on time large print bill!!

That nonsense refers to calls to freephone numbers, not calls which are inclusive (free) within your call plan. They're just trying to fob you off.'For legal reasons we cannot print on your bill telephphone calls that have been allocated to a free number to see these allocated calls you will need to have a letter raised from a solicitor and sent to our headoffice to make a request to see them. £200 a month is ridiculous.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0
