Surely the banks set their own precedence by already paying thousands of people their charges back?

You would think so, but as "offers/gestures of goodwill" there was no admittance of liability and therefore no precedence could be set.

    Thanks Oscar

So what about the people who did win in court?

Goodwill or not, I still think that by coughing up there was an acceptance of wrongdoing by the banks. This was a veil to their deceit.

You are probably older then me, wiser than me, own your own house have a bigger car than me and have a much easier username to write, etc, etc,...to be honest, I wasn't really saying anything other than what I am prepared to do. I couldn't care less about your size or history.

It reminds me of the quote "life is not dictated by the number of breaths we take but on the moments that take our breath away".
I have not worked for NatWest Bank since February 2009

This username is no longer active.
  • Others sources suggest an individual may not only need significant legal help, but also a pot of gold as a claimant could face costs of millions as the banks will challenge and appeal any judgemet that goes against them, possibly all the way back up to the Supreme Court
Similar to what happened with the Ian Hamilton QC v Royal Bank of Scotland in so much that it was pased to the High cvourt instead of being dealt with in Small Claims Court..........However you state Millions in the plural, while outwith the means of "most poor punters" the costs would not be in the millions

Yes, the comment he made came across like a child in the playground

    I like the quote Nattie!

"life is not dictated by the number of breaths we take but on the moments that take our breath away"

How very true that is. That shall remain with me.

Don't waste money on court fees attempting to fight a lost battle ;)

You asked me if I would be around in 3, 4 or 5 years time.
I answered that question you asked of me. :)

But I have not personally. I did not spend a penny except the £10 SAR fee which was refunded each time.

I don't recommend anyone starting a court reclaim at present.

In my 3 current account reclaims, I did not need to issue court papers. The power of the written word, persuasion and argument worked for me.

In 1 mortgage reclaim the exact same thing.

    All came with interest.:T

On another site, thousands were helped to do the exact same thing. :T

Have a merry christmas Premier, see you in 2/3/4/5 years time.;)
