Anyone know where I can get a 5.8 Ghz cordless phone from the UK or EU? I have a 2.4 Ghz system which, understandably, interferes with my WiFi

When you say it interferes, are you getting signal dropouts? It could be your neighbours wifi.

Thanks but I'm pretty sure the US phones aren't compatable with our network. Could be wrong though.....

When someone is on the phone, I lose my connection:mad:0 -
Is it the cordless phone signal that knocks out the wireless network signal or the telephone that call on the line that interferes with the broadband on the line, probably because each phone isn't filtered?Zahc wrote:When someone is on the phone, I lose my connection:mad:0 -

Hells bells, I didn't think of that! How stupid do I feel:T ? I'll let you know how I get on. Dumb, so dumb. I've got a filter going to my router but not the phone base station.0 -

That's sorted it, but the person who rang me said she couldn't hear the 'ringing' tone. Coincidence?0
