Rebtel - cheap international calls possibly?

I've just been reading an article in the Guardian Technology section on Rebtel (https://www.rebtel.com) - looks like an interesting service, particularly their "RebIn" service ("RebOut" doesn't seem much cheaper than using the likes of 18866).
Anyone else tried it yet?

Its a Mobile Phone Service,not landline.0

I could be wrong, but the "RebOut" service looks like it could be used from a landline (although admittedly you probably wouldn't want to). "RebIn" of course depends on having a mobile to receive the SMS.0

From their site.
So what do we promise?
To take the phony out of telephony. To offer the best, smartest, and most up-to-date ways of making international mobile phone calls – without any hidden clauses, small print, and secret charges.0 -
You can use the service from any phone (Land line or mobile)and even from a pay phone.hurrah wrote:Its a Mobile Phone Service, not landline.
I use it and I like it ;-)
And you can send the message about the connection either by email or SMS or call your friend and tell them to call back to the phone number they see in the display (if it is a phone with "caller ID").

I started using this yesterday and it is fantastic I now talk to my mates on their own 0207 (landline) number which diverts to their mobile (I only pay a landline charge) they then answer the call, hang up and call me back on my 0207 number that diverts to my mobile, we hen talk for free (apart from the cost of the 0207 number that we have both called.I am a NewNet Newbie 8MB £12.99 per month for broadband...no complaints so far!0

& how would thuis be better than calling mobile to mobile using incl xnet minutes?
or from landline to landline using an all-in plan?

I will be using it when my inclusive minutes are up! The 30 seconds no charge is a real winner too, my Mum is on T-Mobile PAYG and is reluctant to call me on my Orange mobile as it costs her 40p a minute. By her calling me on my 207 Reb In number (which diverts to my mobile) she will only ever pay 5p a min!I am a NewNet Newbie 8MB £12.99 per month for broadband...no complaints so far!0

But T-Mob dont have a payg tariff where you can call 020 geographical numbers for 5p a minute.0
