bacon and veg to use up

I have got 2 packs of bacon in fridge (8 rashers) and a load of veg that needs using up,potatoes onion, carrot,peppers,white cabbage, broccoli and cauli. tinned tomatoes i have an idea in my head that I could do some sort of bacon and potatoe bake but googling for a recipe hasn't given me any ideas. Yep, it's the one by Jocasta Innes. She's something successful in the Media these days, so not a pauper any more! Mine was 40p in the charity shop I collect cookbooks so I have to shop at Oxfam to keep the prices down
