Payment Dates

I'm just wondering what this statment means:

'In all cases, you will see your payment in Online Banking the day after it is credited to your account.'

Now i made a payment to my card on the 21st (Mon) and so it should be in my account today (It supposedly takes 2 days)... however the website says it won't show until tommorow (Thurs). (Monday payments = Transaaction day of Wednesday & shown on your account Thursday)

So technically, it's in my account - i just cant see it on my online account?

I'd like to know as id like to make a purchase today so it arrives in time for christmas.

Should i just make the purchase or do you think I give a late present for christmas

I'm on the play.com credit card and can't seem to find a fee for going over my limit, which is the worst situation obviously.

Thanks in advance,

Kev
