  • Glad you should be able to get to your Mum's Beanie.
My evening has just gone pear shaped. Friend was coming round for a drink whilst hubby was at the pub. Mum and Dad arrived followed by really boring ex relatives. Friend arrived early and then went. Thought boring people would never go.
Now we are in 2 separate houses and her DD who is usually our chauffeur has had a drink!
And it has been snowing again.
We could walk in either direction but it involves walking back through a nasty area later on.
    Sulks.

Dad's just phoned me, apparantly from tomorrow Curry's are selling off all their Vista PC's and laptops, I'll go have a look I think since both this and my PC are ancient and on their last legs. It'll mean dipping into my debt savings, but since a quarter of it's owed to the bank of dad and he's said he's in no rush then it's fine. (In fact, when he lent it he used the word 'give' not 'lend' but I'm not comfortable just taking it like that).
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

Really sorry to hear that Bookie, it's a major downside of xmas. Well, for people who haven't been successful in cutting off the boring relatives or moving a couple of hours drive away from them!

We're watching Christmas TOTP, getting all festive :rudolf:

Me too Spud, there isnt anything else on really  I must admit I love hearing all the christmas songs... Shame they will all be over on Saturday. We already have our 'new' disk for the player in work, with all the christmas songs missing ~ boo hoo :o

Sally, glad you are feeling better, did you have some choc and wine on Bookies advice?

I'm watching channel four news. Mainly cos I can't be bothered to get up and turn the telly off! Just having dinner then I'm curling up with my book.
