Return deposits if delayed by weather?

Hi folks, my OH's family are coming to London for the football on Boxing Day and have asked hubby and I to book a restaurant (Harvester or such like) for 10/12 people so we can eat out together . I have been looking online and they all require a deposit which I will have to go and pay in person which is fine.. What I want to know is will I get it back if the match is called off because of the weather and they don't come? I did try to ring but they have an answerphone on...thanks
