Hi I have sold a property and want to put the proceeds into a instant access saver account until I purchase another property. Can anyboby advise an account with the best interest rate?

    Firstly use your isa allowance for the yr for yourself and your partner then if you use Birmingham Midshires Building society they are doing 4.17% net on savings of £1 to £1 million but the money has to be left untouched for 1yr, alternatively they do 3.96% net this includes a 0.65 bonus in yr 1 but you can get at your money at anytime.A higher payer than these would be ICIC bank @5.15% mentioned on this site but has had some bad reviews call centre is in India all the above are Internet accounts.Sainsburys internet Bank do 3.80% nett. Hope this might help.
