It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends

Unplug the freeview box and connect the DVD player. That's it really, invest in a scart switch box, but not worth it and they don't all always work or interfere with each other.0

You can buy scart switches for as little as £3.50 in Argos.0

My local Poundland always has them in, in fact so do the two other pound shops in my local town.
As for leaving the freeview box on all the time, no you don't need to, they do get some software updates over night and also programme info but they usually catch up. Best to have it off when not used. The only way of finding the limits of the possible is by going beyond them into the impossible.
