Which laptop advice please?

in Techie Stuff
Our local computer shop has these 2 laptops, both priced at £399 altho to get Windows 7 would cost more. Wot do you guys think would be better or should I go for something else?
Acer Extensa 5635z :
Intel pentium Dual Core T4300, 2048Mb Ram, 250 Gb HDD, Dual layer DVD-RW, Gigabit Ethernet/webcam, WirelessB/G/Draft-N. 15.6" Acer LED backlit lcd.
Toshiba Satellite P300
Intel Dual Core T3400, 2048 MB DDR2 ram, 20 gb HDD, Intel4500M HD Graphics, Webcam/WirelessB/G, 17" Trubrite Lcd Display
Or is there anything else better spec that you can suggest? Willing to spend another £50 or so.

Ive had a Acer and a Dell in the past and i wouldn't take one of you if you were giving me it for nothing. I have a Compaq presario now and i would recommend having a look at there range also. Compaq and hp same company good machines. Sorry to confuse you even more
