I had one from about the 60s that absolutely no one wanted, It went in a skip in the end. I do have a unique one in a suitcase from even earlier with rigid slides (still camera slides though not an earlier format) and I had very little interest but I decided to put that one in storage 'just in case'. I did try a couple of museums, but even they did not want it as a donation.

I find it such a shame really that no one wants these items which were horribly expensive in their day.

If you have any films though they go well. I had my family films converted to DVD (horribly expensive!) but decided to just sell the cine films on ebay. I got over £20 for a 3 minute original Sooty film and over £10 for a couple of Laurel and Hardy 2 minutes clips.
