freeze some for xmas save you buying any then aswell as the other suggestions you could cut some up into little strips open freeze then bag, perfect for grabbing a handful to sprinkle on homemade pizza`s, in pasta carbonara, quiche, pies, salad, soup topper etc. luckt you getting a refund!

Hi, I regularly freeze ham in packs of about 5 slices or more for making a weeks worth of school lunches with when I get the rolls. Works like a dream, bread doesn't go soggy and keeps fresh until lunchtime. I'd say it was the way to go. Also you could do other meals which involve ham as people have suggested. Lucky you to get it refunded. x

I almost feel guilty now for getting it refunded! If I'd realised I could just freeze it I wouldn't have rung them, so I guess sometimes it pays to be a bit thick, lol.

When you make sandwiches, when it comes to defrosting them make sure they are airtight otherwise they will just curl up and die and go really dry.

Make a hot salad and fry the ham or put into toasted sandwiches. Or make ham pittas with salad like a kebab
