Microsoft Outlook help

Hi,

I have posted about this before, but I cannot find my original post.

I am trying to get onto Outlook and I am getting the following message:

Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook window.

Can anyone help with what I should do? I remember that it is relatively simple!

Which version of Office/Outlook? Which OS? Is the following folder resident?
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office

Any particular problems with starting other Office applications?

The following is there:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12

No problems starting anything else as far as I am aware...
