Combo boilers have a pressure relief valve set to 3PSI. Clean it or replace it. They leak or go to early hence the loss of pressure. Stuck valves - How would that cause a pressure drop...??? Look at the overflow / discharge area outside is it wet?

hi yes the discharge area is wet , on the boiler they tell you to keep it at 1.5 bar ,when it goes under that thtas when the shutdown happens . Took all the thermostats of and made sure they werent stuck, so where do go from here british gas ?
  • yes check allthe thermostats and ,thet are not stuck

Remove the relief valve and clean the rubber seals inside or replace.
Set the pressure higher to 2.5 or 3 what happens. I think there is a release on the relief valve to drop the pressure too, maybe weak/dirty/pitted, etc.
