Hi,
I don't own a Alfa Mito but I am a member of the Alfa Owners forum. I suggest you have a look over there as I am sure someone there will be able to help - alfaowner.com/forum . There is a whole section just for the Mito. What problems are you having with it?0 -

Not really too sure where to start, but the car is only a few months old and it has been back to the garage on 11 separate occasions for 6 different faults, first time being within the first hour! I have taken legal advice on where I stand and am awaiting a response from Alfa. Faults have been mechanical, electrical and bodywork! I am so dissapointed0

Its an Alfa, its what they do. Alfas are not noted for reliability but when they are working well, they're a joy to drive which is why many put up with them.
Once in the 1980's, Alfa Romeo went into partnership with Nissan and produced the Alfa Arna. Instead of getting the best of both worlds, Japanese reliability with the Italian design flair, they decided to do it the other way round so you ended up with a Nissan Cherry with dodgy Italian electrics that rotted faster than it depreciated.
If you want reliability, an Alfa would be well near the bottom of the list.0 -
the mito is based on the grande punto/corsa shared platform so if the op gave more info we could possibly help0

To be honest Alfa and Fiat products are much improved and no longer totally scrape the barrel in reliability and driver studies. The 80's was a terrible time for the group. Fiat makes quite healthy sums of cash now- much better than some companies. Renault and Peugeot get similarly poor responses for reliability but people don't seem to think so. I wouldn't think the MiTo would be bad unless you get an early build model.0 -
As this rejection is now being dealt with by my company lawyer i am a bit reluctant to list everything that is wrong, you never know who is watching!! i shall however report back when ive had my response - they have 6-days left!!
happy christmas to you all

Some manufacturers like to spend more money on marketing and outside appearence than their engineering department.
Sadly, Alfa Romeo is one of them. They are notorious for unreliability.
Surprising number of people still buy cars based on how good they lookHappiness is buying an item and then not checking its price after a month to discover it was reduced further.0
