Samsung ES55 misadvertised by Argos and Amazon?

I ordered an ES55 10mp Digital Camera for 66.97 and it arrived today.
Immediately searched out the smile detector only to discover it's not included and neither is the blink detection!
The Amazon site, where we bought it, advertises both those features but, I've since discovered, the Samsung site doesn't.
I'm gutted because it's a present for someone who wants both those features in a point and shoot machine and now we don't have time to find another to replace it.
What should I do? I can't find anywhere on the website to report the misadvertising. By the way, it's also advertised with the additional features on the Argos website and others!
Help!

Does anyone know how to report the misadvertising to Amazon?
I can't find the link.0 -
Well it has face detection? to me that says smile and blink detection, just a different name.
I've never heard of "smile" or "blink" detection. Probably doesn't exist in which case your friend probably wanted face detection anyways.
Correct me if they do exist though.Back by no demand whatsoever.0 -
amazon will refund your money with no problem.
one of the best retailers on the net. first class service in my experience.
they only get the item info off the makers so im not sure what you want them to do?Get some gorm.0 -
Firstly, smile detection is completely different to Face det. Once you switch it on, the camera takes the pics whenever the detected face smiles. Switch it off and you press the shutter as normal.
Blink detection takes three portrait pics to avoid blinks.
Secondly, I realise Amazon are a reliable seller, however they have a responsibility to advertise their products honestly and in this case they haven't. The information they have provided is completely and utterly wrong. Surely you understand that?
I bought the camera because they said it had those features and it hasn't. Now, it's 4 days to christmas and I'm completely lumbered.
Anyone know how to report it to Amazon? Or is everyone just seeking to find holes/mistakes/gaps in my argument?

OK.... jeez, i did say correct me if i was wrong, i have never heard of those features, no need to fly off on one.
In that cas ei do understand your case and you will get a refund no problems, maybe pull their leg to supply the next camera you buy next day for free?Back by no demand whatsoever.0 -

Amazon have made a mistake, but given that Argos and Play have made the same error, I suspect Samsung have given them all the wrong info. Regardless, Amazon are a reputable company with a good customer service policy and they will refund for the error, but I doubt if their is anything they can do this close to Christmas. I think the only option, if you want something for Christmas day, is to buy on the High Street and get a refund from Amazon. There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.

Think it was the combination of two posts which said 1, the features don't exist and 2, Amazon are great and it's not their fault!
Sorry.0 -
I just got an email from Amazon stating that they are shipping orders for Christmas up to 2pm on the 23rd (express delivery option), so maybe they can do something if you can get in touch quickly. I'd email customer services. Log onto your account and click on 'help'.There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.
