in Credit cards
Well I think it is - its just that I don't know the answer!
My interest-free period on my credit card ends in Feb 2010.
I have just received December's statement and set up a payment for January (9th) but can anyone tell me if there is interest added to January's statement (my February payment) please or would it be added in the February statement which would ask for a payment in March?
Basically I'm trying to work out how long I can leave it before settling in full.

You need to find out exactly when the offer period ends.
Normally you aren't told this (strangely) and the account opening date is often before you veen receive the card or paperwork through the post.
You need to call or email the card company and find out the date it ends.
Then you need to arrange CLEARED payment to get to them before that date.
That might mean making a payment a week before to make sure there is time for clearance.
This timing will probably not coincide with your statement and normal payment dates.
Of course you can pay itoff early.
I would definitely recommend calling to check though.
It might be you received the card in the post 2 weeks after the account was opened and they always go from the earliest date.0
