Ahhh…up bright and early today – hooray… :p bright eyed and bushy tailed no less…whoo hoo. The birds outside are [STRIKE]squawking[/STRIKE] chirping away gaily – how wonderful. Popped to the bathroom… as you do…glanced in the mirror…. the Living Dead springs to mind…. nothing new there then. :D

Just made a wonderful cup of tea – who’s a clever boy then… I must stop talking to myself or get a Parrot. Hopefully it should be a No Spend Day today – hooray. :)

Ooooh tea, been up for an hour and still not had a cuppa - must be sickening for something.

Hmmmm - well, please don't shout at me but I am finally getting a hair cut today as I look too "studenty" for my new job where I have to look all smart and professional. I've found a lady who will cut my hair for half the normal London prices though so it's not too bad. Shall update later! Have a good day all.

    Morning all,

Spent nothing so far but need to pop into town later to get contact solution so couple of pounds.

Got the afternoon off work but instead of going to the shops or spending money, I'm off to the local library to pick up a few books to read (for free!). Saves me buying them in and keeps me occupied and inspired.

    Hi all

Bit later than usual posting today as I had a lie-in (yay :j ).

I've got to share this with you (hope you don't mind) 'cos Im feeling good about it and it is in the DFW cause:- I put some of my books for sale on Amazon last night. It's the first time ever for me (I'm working up to ebay but I find that a bit too scary yet) and already this morning I've had an email telling me one of them has sold for a fiver, how good is that? :j

So, i've wrapped it carefully (might regret all the parcel tape when it gets weighed :o ) and I'm off to Post Office soon to send it. I've got loads of stamps (certainly enough to cover the cost) so there shouldn't even be any extra cost involved.

Many, many thanks to the 'how to sell your stuff on Amazon' thread 'cos without that I doubt I would have got started.

Anyway, other spends today will be 1l semi-skimmed milk (friend is coming to visit and doesn't like my money-saving UHT skimmed!) and possibly a bottle of beer from the offi to celebrate my first sale :D

Have a great DFW day everyone.

    Hi all,

I didn't make sandwiches for work last night (OH ate all the cheese), so I will be buying my lunch today £2. Not too bad though as I usually treat myself to a bought lunch on a Friday but won't need to tomorrow as I am out for a freebie lunch with work. Might have to buy some more vegetables on my way home tonight too, OH has been home all week so has eaten practically everything....
