Hi all Just after a bit of advice... We have had the survey back on the property we wish to buy and the surveyor has recommended a value of £83000 although our accepted offer was £86000. How do we go about re-negotiating the price??? I know it's a stupid question but do we go through our solicitor or do we go through the…

Use the solicitor if you can, as the estate agent will try it on less with the solicitor.

Don't pay more than 83,000 as unexpected circumstances may force you to sell in the short term, and you will be heavily out of pocked.
