Induction hob repair

Hi, we have an Arrow OC6201GB01 induction hob. The other day three of the rings stopped working (the fourth one is fine). We lifted it out to see if we could see any visible fault underneath, but when we tipped it up on one side the other three rings started working again.
Anyone have any ideas what could be causing it, and if it could be fixed? Yell has a lot of electrical repair places, but they seem to concentrate on white goods (washing machines, dishwashers, fridges). I've dabbled with a soldering iron and was hoping I could even fix it myself, but I have no idea how to get into the damn thing. I suspect a loose wire...

Sounds like it was a loose wire to me too.

It sounds like it is on the way out, so if you are confident with electrics I would mentally assume that I am buying a new one, then remove every screw I can until it is apart.

I have a particular method involving making maps on A4 paper as I go along and pushing all screws and springs into the paper so I know where to put everything back.

However, modern things are not easily fixed. The other day I managed to fix my VCR, it is so old that it is made in England and has proper parts rather than just one circuit board.

I could be wrong, but I doubt there is a massive cooker hacking community, so the chances of you finding details schematics online is unlikely.
