I have the voyager 2091 from BT and I am running the XBOX 360 wirelessly - if you dont have a wireless adapter then you can go through the ethernet socket in the back of the router.0

Any router will work with AOL but the BT Voyager 2091's are locked to BT similar to the way mobiles are locked the their network provider. There are ways to unlock them and Google is your friend if you can get one cheap.

The netgear DG834 series have problems with AOL. you have to adjust your MTU to get them to work correctly0

That is not a problem with the router! It's a problem with the user!

The last I heard was that AOL only give end user support for Netgears routers, so that gives them the seal of approval.
The MTU adjustment applies to all routers when used with AOL. It's AOL..
As has already been mentioned, BT's router may be locked to BT, but it's hackable. Get a Netgear if you don't want the hassle.

or move ISP..Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0 -
AOL give support for the DG834G because you can buy them already configured for AOL when you buy the package from Pcworld,Dixons or Currys. My mate got no such luck when he used my old DG834GT. he was told to go to Netgear support for the solution0
