Reclaiming Charges / Fradulent Transactions

Hi Everyone,
I was unsure about where to put this but as I am trying to reclaim bank charges I thought here would be best! Will try to explain this as simply as possible.
I did not realise until 6 weeks ago that there were fradulent transactions on my Lloyds TSB account amounting to approx. £550. These were taken in Feb and March 09. I was studying in my last semester at UNI, taking final exams, doing dissertation, looking after toddler and had to fly back to UK for finals (I live in Australia). Anyway as soon as I realised I notified Lloyds. It has taken them 6 weeks to agree to refund the money but that is another story.
Throughout this time, these fraudulent transaction have resulted in the accumulation of approx. £1000 of bank charges for unauthorised overdraft charges and some returned direct debits. I was wondering if anyone might have any advice on my changes of re-claiming these charges? I thought I would give it a try.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Sarah :-)
