Me too, i guarantee i would always get overcharged for at least one thing. I dont shop there anymore. You are kept waiting for your refund and then theres not really an apology but more of a 'i cant be bothered' attitude. Makes you wonder just how many people dont bother checking their receipts. Not just misprice you need to look out for but ive actually had some fresh fish put through twice when i only had one bit!!

Just thought of another thing that Morrissons were always guilty of and thats putting the wrong items in place of others when they were sold out. What i mean is that say for example 375g boxes of weetos were on offer at £1 but they were all gone, they would fill the shelf with 500g boxes which would be about £2.50 or something silly. I once complained about them doing that and they said it saved having empty shelf space. They still conveniently left the price offer tag showing though!! Ive pulled them down and left them laying on the shelf before. :D

  • No it's not just Norfolk m8. Barrow-in-Furness store is full of half breeds as well.

Always over charging. Always keep you waiting. Always rude.

Once over charged me 48p for something, when I went to cs, beast on the till said tell you what we'll just call it 40p eh. Cheeky moo!!! I said I don't think so 48p please.

So yes they are all crap.

    Oh no they aren't!

I go to the North Road branch in Darlington, and generally get good service. Smiles, friendly chat and when there is a problem good CS people to sort it out.

I suppose it might help that I've been going to the store since it opened 25 years ago though so you get to know the people - some of which even say hello when they see me out of the store!

Boy I wish I was that lucky. I've always wanted the people from the supermarket to talk to me.

I've got to agree with the majority here, Morrisons just dont seem to keep on top of their price changes very well. I wouldnt mind so much if they paid me for the inconvenience of waiting for 15 mins to get a refund almost every week (when I used to shop there) I tend to shop online at tesco now (for the free clubcard points) and pop to asda the rest of the time as at least they give you a 2 pound voucher for the inconvenience of incorrect charging. It's about time Morrisons got a big fine for overcharging people, if more people complained to trading standards every time it happened then they would either 1) do something about their lazy pricing or 2) offer some incentive to joe public for waiting at CS for their refund. How many people go back for the sake of pence? not many i reckon, and it all adds up.
As for staff morale, well... I admit to working for them about 13 years ago and it's got a lot worse since then.
