    Whoops forget to subscribe to my own thread!!! Thanks for all the suggestions, just gotta decide what to try now - Lynz I luuuurve the chinese style duck but alway think if I made it myself I probably wouldn't do it justice!

    Oooh, I best subscribe to this. Lidl are having a special on duck this week. £5.99 for a whole one, I'm just going through the results of searching on here.

    we had duck the other week - our butcher gave us a great tip. save the fat (and there was loads) in a jam jar and keep in the fridge. it makes the most delicious roast potatoes I've ever tasted.

    Honestly, dont bet on it! Its not difficult to make at all .

    If you do a search on here, youll find me discussing it about :eek: three years ago.

    I now make it regularly, using the same tricks I used then . the only prob is tha tOH has high cholestrol nad we are not allowed duck much but once in a while...... :A
