  • My £7 Monday SO has already gone to my incentive saver so i'm up to £41 :) I think realistically, most of mine will be going on xmas since it's going to mine and my little man's first xmas in our own place.

Well done everybody who's saved even a little bit; it's probably more than you would have done without this thread.

well i was hoping to keep ahead of myself But I put in another 2 today that takes me up to Tuesday but can't see managing any more until payday when i can catch up and get ahead again, I found it more motivating being a few days up front as I am so used to playing catch up with everything but thank you Yummymummy for your post, I can forget I wouldn't have saved anything without this thread ;)

  • Just for once it's nice to see a little bit of money going into a savings account- this is practically unheard for me (well maybe a few years ago!)
I've just transferred across £5 to catch up (I know the money should go to the great credit card bod in the sky but its not going to!!! so there )
Well done to everyone else :T
I've actually started to put the money into a savings ac so that I get a teensy!!!! bit of interest and the money is out of the house and not a temptation!
May you fill up the great clutterbucket of life and may all of your leaks be in cheese sauce:D

  • How is everyone doing?

We started a little late on the 8th of Jan, but have been putting in a few extra pennies to compensate! Also as we are in Euro's we will be putting a little extra now and then in too, I am talking like the odd 20cent etc...just so at the end of the year when we convert it, we dont get gutted on the exchange rate eating up to much compared to the totals we have in our head haha!

We super glued our tub lid over the weekend and made a slit so only coins can go in! Makes it easier to resist temptation!

Have a good week all x
    Thankful For My LBM
