  • £1.40 extra for me today. I only had to get the bus one way to work today so that was £1.20 saved, plus 20p in copper.
    Start Date: 27/11/2010
    Padding: Day 42
    Target £8000
    Amount: £562.23
  • I started off doing the £2 challenge but after getting about £10 I'm now joining the £365/365 challenge please....think I might have £15 now...don't want to guess at anymore incase I get disappointed!!
June 2012 Clydesdale Loan=[STRIKE]£12620[/STRIKE]£1246.47- (only 5 payments left but just received £3955 back from it for PPI!!!)
  • I've changed my mind about having actual money in an actual pot for this. I opened an Incentive Saver (i think thts what it's called) Account and set up a standing order for £7 a week on the day my tax credits go in so it shouldn't be painful. If i take any money out i won't get any interest for an entire month so hopefully i won't be tempted. The change in my piggy bank always ends up getting used for something once it's full and i'm going to have a whole flat to furnish mid Jan (hopefully!!) so it would almost definately end up getting spent. No willpower :o

P.S I like the idea of loosing a different kind of pound as often aswell, if only it was that easy :rotfl:

  • @YM20, done the same thing, I just opened an incentive saver just for this challenge, cos once the money is in a saving account I don't withdraw it. To be honest if I had the money around me I would spend it.

I have put all of Jan's money into the account as I had the money in my wallet plus I wanted to start it good cos I know in 7 days time my moped is going into the garage for major repair so might not have money to put in for Feb.
  • im thinking of putting my money in the bank to but do it monthly ..like £31 for january ,that kind of thing. Will still put money in my pot to.Would like the £365 for the start of december 2010 so that would pay for christmas.
