Garage lock broken

Can anybody advise?

Garage door is fitted with a Henderson anti-vandle lock lift handle (like a T which pulls out).

Problem is that the T is broken and I can't turn the key to release the lock. Any ideas on how to proceed or is it a job for a locksmith?

Personally I would say it will be a job for a locksmith or you may do more damage to the door to get it open. Is there a way to access the door from the other side?

Thanks for the response. There is no other access to the garage. The 'T' is broken from the middle. The key won't turn either way. Any rough ideas of the cost of refitting (excl part) if I do have to call a locksmith?

Depending on where you are in the country I would say between £40-70 plus parts.
