Broken button

The I button on my laptop has broken, the plastic bit has come off, so all I have is the little rubber bit to press. Is there a way to fix this, I tried to put it back on but it keeps coming off again.

What the make and model of the laptop? I'm assuming you mean the 'I' key on the keyboard?
If so, check out ebay as theres a fair chance you could get a keyboard on there. Usually not too tricky to fit.0 -
Replacement key won't cost a lot; they just clip (push down) on usually.0

Buy business class laptops, they're bomb proof.....
Sorry, not very helpful I know.... Chances are the button will be missing a part, or something will have sheared off. It's probably not worth trying to fix it for the risk of further damage.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

Lots of people selling individual keys complete with the brackets on Ebay for around £2. Even though it is for the same model, make sure that the little plastic lever bracket is the same as yours. If you're unsure, you can buy a full keyboard for around £20 and there's plenty of HOWTOs on the internet to show you how to change them.0
