Praise for Royal Mail

Just want to tell you all how my local postie went above and beyond this weekend.

Having missed a parcel delivery on Friday my postman returned to deliver on Sunday morning instead. This saved me the trip to the local collection office and he battled his way through heavy snow.

He said they have so much on with Christmas that they are trying to get everything out on time for their customers.

My mum and dad had a card to sent to a road haven't lived on for more than thirty years, and which didn't show a house number, and it still got delivered to them. That's the benefit of living in a small village were the local postie gets to know the people who live there.
The fridge is empty, the walls are damp, there's no hot water
And I look like a tramp and tramps like us
Baby we were born to walk
