Time limit for CCA?

Can anyone tell me if there is a time limit for the consumer credit act and non-delivery of goods (yes I have googled).
My OH ordered some bespoke motorcycle leathers (trousers and jacket that zip together) around about 6 months ago.
The trousers came (after a wait) and are very satisfactory.
The company appear to be disorganised as opposed to being rip off merchants.
They say something different each time which appears to be down to forgetfulness or lack of organisation but on the other side of the coin they have provided half of the suit so far.
So my question is, what is the time limit?
My husband cannot buy off the peg due to size and there aren't many companies that provide this service, so going elsewhere isn't really an option.
Besides he has half a suit and the trousers are quite nice in terms of fit/quality etc. so we do actually want the item, but want to make sure we don't miss a time limit (if we haven't already).
and yes, they were over £100
