EON - Annual "averaging"

When I moved to EON in September they set my DD at a figure which I agreed with and will , by my calculations, result in a zero balance next September. I will however have a debit figure when I receive my next bill in January.
Will this result in a ridiculous hike in my DD for the rest of the "winter" period to acheive a zero balance by the April review?? Or will they leave it alone to acheive balance by the end of the Summer period.?
Certainly with last 2 suppliers this hasn't been a problem.

Hi brewerdave,
This may well be the case, the Direct Debit might be increased in order for a zero balance in the spring review to be achieved.
However in some cases the 'first' spring review may not be until spring 2011, so effectively the Direct Debit is set to be at zero in the spring 2011 and not 2010.
This is dependent on when you joined and your scheduled billing dates.
I'd call E.ON and ask us to check your expected spring review date, this information will be available.
If you'd like, email me on the address to the left and I'll check for you.

Brian, many thanks for very prompt reply. I'll post the gist of reply for others who may be in a similar position. I transferred over to EON on Sept 24th this year.
"
The Direct Debit on your account is scheduled for it's first full annual review in spring 2011 not 2010. This means that you won't see a large increase to your Direct Debit during the winter period. Any reviews at bill production will be aiming for zero balance in 2011, so if there are any reviews over the next year they should be minimal/affected by consumption shifts."0
