Morning All,
We have finally decided on a kitchen style and have pretty much finalised the plans.. we're just struggling to decide on what colour / type of worktop to go for and was wondering if anyone with a good eye could recommend something?
We've gone for a cream/cappuccino gloss doors.. and will then have walnut wood trim around the units and the plinths.. kind of like this idea: http://www.ikd-int.co.uk/amalficream-kitchen.jpg
I think they have put a grey worktop on it which i think looks a bit wishy washy?
What colour worktop would you put with it?

Are you fitting it yourself?0

No, we've attempted fitting a short piece of worktop in our utility room so will leave it to the professionals in the kitchen!0

Okay, having just fitted a wooden worktop, I was going to suggest that if you were doing it yourself, as it was easier to fit than a laminate one, and where I made mistakes, I could repair the wood whereas I would have had to throw a laminate worktop away.0 -
I think it does need something a good bit darker, that grey is wishy washy. But darker will make the kitchen darker too, are you OK with that?0

Depends on how much other colour you're planning to introduce into the kitchen but walnut worktops would be the obvious choice, or a quartz that matched the colour of the doors.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
